A sewage backup isn't a job for a mop and bucket. Our Sewage Cleanup crews arrive in full PPE, classify the contamination, and follow IICRC S500 blackwater protocols from the first step.

Containment goes up before extraction starts, because the goal on a contamination job isn't just removing the water, it's making sure the contamination doesn't spread to rooms that were never affected.
None of this is unique to a big loss either — the same standard applies whether it's a single-room sewage cleanup call or a larger one.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when sewage cleanup gets handled by a generalist rather than a specialist.
Ask for credentials before the work starts, not after — a legitimate sewage cleanup specialist will have them ready.
Every sewage job follows documented contamination standards, not an improvised cleanup approach.
Technicians suit up in full protective gear before entering a contaminated area.
Disposal documentation is provided as part of the job record.
Sewage backups get priority dispatch given the health risk involved.
Every piece of sewage cleanup work below follows the same documentation standard, whether it's a small job or a larger one.
Classification determines PPE level, containment approach, and which materials must be removed.
Extraction equipment dedicated to contaminated water keeps cross-contamination from clean-water jobs.
Carpet, pad, and drywall that contacted blackwater almost always require removal rather than drying in place.
Disinfection follows removal of unsalvageable materials, covering every remaining surface in the affected zone.
We address the contamination causing the odor rather than just deploying an air freshener.
We verify the space meets a safe standard before calling the job complete.
This is the same sequence every sewage cleanup job follows, regardless of size.
A real person answers, asks a few fast questions, and routes the nearest available crew.
The truck that arrives is stocked specifically for Sewage Cleanup jobs, not a generic handyman setup.
A technician assesses the scope on-site and provides a written flat-rate quote before any work begins.
Work continues until the job meets our documented completion standard, verified before we call it done.

Andre P., Hewitt"Professional and thorough despite how unpleasant the situation was."
Naomi F., Hewitt"The odor was completely gone after their disinfection process, not just covered up."

Victor N., Hewitt"A backup in our restaurant kitchen got same-day response given the health code concerns, and they understood the urgency immediately."
Grace T., HewittIf your question about sewage cleanup isn't covered here, call +1-844-578-1604 and we'll walk you through it directly.
Our sewage cleanup coverage spans 54441, with trucks positioned to reach any address in the service area quickly.
Coverage extends past the immediate area, so an outlying Hewitt address isn't treated as a lower priority for sewage cleanup.
